The only child of Willie Crowder Baker (1885-1920) and her husband Hugh L Alexander, their son, was stillborn. His mother died of pneumonia on 4 Feb. 1920 in the same hospital, on Proctor Street in Port Arthur ,in which her child was born. His death certificate indicates the baby boy was buried in City Cemetery on 13 Oct. 1918.
