Abbie O. Jordan
Funeral services for Abbie O. Jordan, 82, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Rev. R. B. Gardner and Rev. Jimmy Clark officiated. Interment was made in Pleasant Ridge Baptist Cemetery, Forest.
Mrs. Jordan passed away on May 2, 2002 at Lackey Memorial Hospital. She had been a lifelong resident of Lake. She was a member of the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church.
Her survivors include two daughters, Doris Carr of Ludlow; and Burma Faye Gunter of Forrest; a son, Donald Jordan of Lake; seven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommie Lee Jordan in 1958 and one great granddaughter, Amanda Marie Morris in 2001.
Pallbearers were Robert Jenkins, Toby Gibbs, Jimmy Dale Gibbs, Johnny Cox, Howard Jenkins and Billy Gibbs.
Ott & Lee Funeral Home of Forest was in charge of arrangements.
