Dorothy E. Stackhouse (Newland), 85, of Bolivar, Mo., formerly of the Neola area, died Oct. 5 in California.
She was born Feb. 1, 1918, in Neola to Weldon and Minnie Litel Newland. She was a loan officer in banking.
Mrs. Stackhouse was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, on Nov. 20, 2001.
Survivors include a daughter, Edith; one granddaughter; one grandson; great-grandchildren.
There will be open visitation Thursday. Graveside services will be Friday at 10 a.m. at Neola Township Cemetery. Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
