She is survived by her sons, John Stevens and Joseph Perri, and daughter, Louella Kay. Also surviving her are four of her husband Myrle B. Reinwasser's children; Herbert Reinwasser and wife Susan, Eileen Forst and husband Mel, Mrs. Annette Smith and Mrs. Sandra Longhofer.
Myrle and Phyllis, in their retirement years, spent many years as full time temple workers in the Los Angeles Temple. They later moved to St. George in 1983 where they continued their service in the church and the community. She was an active volunteer at the Dixie Regional Medical Center for 20 years. She was still actively involved up until the time of her death.
Phyllis was a very loving and caring woman who made many friends. A big smile always graced her face. She was loved by many friends and family.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2005, at 11:00 a.m., at the St. George LDS 5th Ward Chapel, 85 South 400 East. Visitations will be on Thursday, May 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd. and Friday, May 27, 9:30-10:30 a.m., prior to services at the Chapel. Interment will be at the St. George City Cemetery under the direction of Metcalf Mortuary, 435-673-4221. Condolences may be sent through our website at www.metcalfmortuary.com.
