He is survived by six sisters and the one brother. Sisters are Mrs. M. C. Baber and Mrs. U. G. Baber, of Nelson County, Mrs. W. G. Henderson, Mrs. Henry Henderson, Mrs. Betty Brown, and Miss Lizzie Baber, all of Waynesboro. The brother is J. S. Baber, of Dayton, O. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for J. H. Baber will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Alexander Funeral Home. The Rev. H. Lee Scott will conduct the last rites while the Masonic Lodge will officiate at the grave.
