Alfred Ball Oldest Brother of William B. and Lester M. Ball, Mrs. E. C. Armstrong and Mrs. Minnie Stuart of Springfield died at his home in Fremont, 12 Jan 1922 of Cancer of the Bladder. The deceased was born on 9 Jan 1855 and came to Nebraska with his parents when quite small and spent about 3O years of his life in Plattford precinct. He as had been a resident of Fremont for close to 25 years and was a member of the Baptist church of that city. His wife Laurinda E. Ball died over 10 years ago. Five children survive him. The youngest a daughter of 14. The funeral was held at 3:30 Sunday afternoon. In attendance were W.B. Ball, Mr. &Mrs. Lester Ball, Springfield, John and Asa Ball of Omaha and Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Ball of Louisville.
