Julia E. Noe was born January 25, 1839, and at the age of fifteen was united in marriage to James M. Ball at Galesburg, Ill. She was the mother of twelve children and ten of them survive her. They are Alfred and James of Fremont, Elmer and Sam of Louisville, Ben, Ace, John and Lester Ball, Mrs. E. C. Armstrong and Mrs. George Stuart of Springfield, all whom were present at the funeral. The deceased came to Sarpy county with her husband in 1869 and for fifteen years had made her home in Springfield. The funeral services were held from the Methodist Church at 11 o'clock yesterday. Rev. Illsley officiated."."
