Edwin K. Appenzellar, 60, of 329 S. Main St., Chambersburg, died at 2 p.m. Thursday in Chambersburg Hospital, after an illness of 2 1/2 years. Born in Chambersburg, he was a son of Harry W. and Nellie M. (Henneberger) Appenzellar and attended Bethel Assembly of God Church. Surviving are his widow, Mabel (Poper) Appenzellar and these brothers and sisters, William L. and Merle S., Chambersburg; Rpbert M., Orlando, Fla.; Harry W. Jr., Chester; David E., Hagerstown; Mrs. Julia Keefer, Mercersburg R. D. 3; Mrs. Fred Gipe and Mrs. Betty Maffitt, both of Hagerstown. Services are set for 2 p.m. Monday at the John 0. Park Funeral Home, Chambersburg, with the Revs. Louie Trotta and James Gorman officiating. Interment will take place in Lincoln Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-9 p.m. Sunday.
