Loretta McGlaughlin (Enright) died peacefully at home in Ormond Beach, Florida on March 21, 2018. Loretta is survived by her husband, George Donald "Mac" McGlaughlin, Jr. of Ormond Beach, Florida, her sister Marge Ingenito (Anthony) of Galloway, New Jersey, her stepsons George Donald McGlaughlin, III (Darleen) of Ocean Gate, New Jersey, Robert McGlaughlin (Leisa, Thomas, Jessica) of Forked River, New Jersey and her daughters Lynne McGlaughlin O'Hearn (Paul) and grandchildren, Ryan and Rowan of Crownsville, Maryland and Kristy McGlaughlin (Andrew Katz) of Long Branch, New Jersey. Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Christopher Enright, sisters Geraldine Enright and Claire Portfolio and brother Christopher Enright. Loretta also leaves behind the dog that she and Mac rescued, Maggie. Loretta was born on April 29, 1940 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Margaret and Christopher Enright. She married George Donald "Mac" McGlaughlin, Jr. in 1974 and moved to Hope, New Jersey. There, she raised her two daughters and kept a beautiful home where she enjoyed entertaining. Many happy summers were spent in Red Bank, New Jersey at the Molly Pitcher on the family boat, the Kristy Lynne, and here she again was known as a warm and welcoming hostess. She was an active member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Belvedere, New Jersey. She moved to Ormond Beach, Florida in 2000. A memorial mass is scheduled for 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 27 at St. Brendan's Catholic Church with a reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Loretta's life.
