George Donald "MAC" McGlaughlin died peacefully at home on August 3, 2018. Mac is predeceased by his loving wife Loretta and his parents George Donald, Sr. and Eleanor McGlaughlin and is survived by his children and grandchildren: his sons George Donald McGlaughlin, III (Darleen) of Ocean Gate, New Jersey, Robert McGlaughlin (Leisa) and grandchildren Thomas and Jessica of Forked River, New Jersey and his daughters Lynne McGlaughlin O'Hearn (Paul) and grandchildren Ryan and Rowan of Crownsville, Maryland and Kristy McGlaughlin (Andrew Katz) of Long Branch, New Jersey. Mac also leaves behind the dog that he and Loretta rescued, Maggie. Mac was born on January 30, 1940 in Yonkers, New York to George Donald, Sr. and Eleanor McGlaughlin. Mac enjoyed many years of retirement with Loretta in their home in Ormond Beach, Florida. Mac was a brilliant industrialist and businessman in the family business of gas grill manufacturing known as Lazyman, Inc. of New Jersey. Mac enjoyed many years yachting, golfing and living life to the fullest with friends and family. Always ready with a good joke to tell, Mac was a big presence wherever he was and will be missed greatly. A memorial service is scheduled for 12pm Monday August 13, 2018 at Lohman's Funeral Home in Ormond Beach. Visitation will be held from 11am until time of service.
