Dorothy Dunaway Pezant., 80, of Tylertown, MS., passed away on January 9, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loved ones.Visitation will be Friday January 11, 2019 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church of Tylertown with visitation again on Saturday from 10 AM until services at 11 AM at the church. Bro. Keith Smith will officiate and burial will be in Boyd cemetery in Salem, MS.Dorothy was born on December 25, 1938 in Tylertown, MS. She is the daughter of the late, Clarence D., and Nola McKenzie Dunaway.Dorothy was a retired hairdresser and a member of the Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church in Tylertown. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved her.She is preceded in death by her parents,She is survived by her loving husband of sixty two happy years, Thomas Edward Pezant, one son, Tommy E. Pezant (Dawn), two daughters, Angela Pezant Weeks and Pamela Pezant Harvey, one sister, Frankie Lawson (Calvin); eight grandchildren, Scott Ruple (Jennifer), Matthew Ruple, Trey Pezant, Ty Pezant, Brittany Lockard (Chris), Whittany Ginn (Casey), Adam Thomas and Christian Thomas; four great-grandchildren, Caden Ruple, Maegan Ruple, Haven Ruple and Asher Lockard with numerous nieces and nephews.Pallbearers will be Scott Ruple, Matthew Ruple, Trey Pezant, Ty Pezant, Chris Lockard, Casey Ginn, Adam Thomas and Christian Thomas.Honorary pallbearers will be Kurt Pittman, Todd Pittman, Chris Populis, Rocky Garrard, Thad Harvey and Caden Ruple.
