Funeral services for Mrs. Nola Dunaway, 95, will be held Thursday, March 5, 2015, at 2:00 P.M. at Capps Funeral Home with Reverend Keith Smith officiating. Burial will be in the Boyd Cemetery in Salem.

Mrs. Dunaway passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Billdora Senior Care Center in Tylertown, Mississippi. She was born June 30, 1919 in Walthall County, Mississippi to the late Thad A. and Ada Beard McKenzie. She was also preceded in death by her husband Clarence David Dunaway; siblings Dixie Miller, Ellis McKenzie, Edward McKenzie, Freddie Roberts and Lula Compton; and grandson Rory Dewayne Pittman.

Mrs. Dunaway was a member of Calvary Temple Pentecostal Church. She was retired from Haspel Garment Manufacturing where she was employed as a seamstress. She loved gardening, cooking and staying busy.

Survivors include daughters Dot (Ed) Pezant of Tylertown and Frankie (Calvin) Lawson of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren Angela Weeks, Pam Harvey, Tommy Pezant, Kurt Pittman, and Todd Pittman; great-grandchildren Scott Ruple, Matt Ruple, Brittany Lackard, Whittany Harvey, Trey Pezant, Ty Pezant, Kourtney Pittman, Makiley Pittman, Lisa Pittman, Amber Pittman, Teria Pittman, Isaiah Pittman, and Rachel Pittman; great-great-grandchildren Caden Ruple, Megan Ruple, Haven Ruple, Hope Mewhorter, Jace Mewhorter, Christian Pittman, Jasyln Pittman, Brody Pittman, Donvian Pittman, Shane Pittman, and Harris Pittman.

Pallbearers will be Scott Ruple, Matt Ruple, Trey Pezant, Ty Pezant, Caden Ruple, and Isaiah Pittman.

Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Lackard, and Thad Harvey.

Visitation will be at Capps Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. and on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 11A.M. until service time there at 2:00 P.M.
