Abel Aleman, Sr. was 71. He moved from Summerfield to Hereford in 1965. He married Evelyn Reeves in 1944 at Fritwell, England. She died in 1991. He retired in 1986 from farming. He was a WW2 veteran and a member of Central Church of Christ.
Survivors included four sons, Alan Aleman of Conroe, George Aleman and Abel Aleman Jr., both of Amarillo, and Jimmy Aleman of Great Falls, Montana; two sisters, Marilyn Noblitt of Odessa and Anne George of San Antonio; a brother, Fred Aleman of Abilene; 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
