James Ronnie Smith, 57, died Thursday, Dec. 7, 2000, in Amarillo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday in First Baptist Church with Pastor James Hooper officiating. Burial will follow in Paducah Garden of Memories Cemetery by Seigler Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was born in Paducah.

After serving with the Army during the Vietnam War, he served with the National Guard. Before returning to Paducah, he owned and operated Third Coast Aviation in Belle Rose, La., and lived in Austin. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Paducah.
