Charles A. Booth, 82, Gladstone, MO (formerly of Bethany, MO) passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at a Smithville, MO nursing home.
He was born on August 21, 1936 in Marshfield, Missouri the son of William W. and Icy M. (Clift) Booth.
Charles was a graduate of Northwest Missouri State University and received a bachelor’s degree in Health and Physical Science as well as Industrial Arts. He later attained his master’s degree of science from Central Missouri State University. Charles taught and was a football coach in Eddyville, Iowa, Westport High School in Winnetonka, Park Hill High School and North Kansas City High School. He was also a contractor and later owned his own company and enjoyed working with his hands. Charles was a member of the Air National Guard and later obtained his pilot’s license as a civilian and thoroughly enjoyed flying.
He was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings.
Charles is survived by his daughters, Alane Booth, Kansas City, MO and Alisa Gillman-Booth, Houston, TX; brothers, Jack (Shirley) Booth, Granite Bay, CA and Danny (Mary) Booth, Kissee Mills, MO; grandchildren, Reghan and Sterling and several nieces, nephews and numerous former students.
