Jackie Roger Adkins, 76, of Huntington, WV passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019 at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 p.m. Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne with Elder Bill Osburn and Elder Charles O. Adkins officiating. Burial will follow in Community Memorial Gardens, Wayne. He was born January 10, 1942 at Verdunville, WV, a son of the late Carmie and Chloe Tomblin Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Georgianna Adkins, and half-brothers, Millard Ray and James O. Adkins. Survivors include one sister, Lynna Gail Rohr of Huntington, WV; five brothers, Charles O. Adkins of Lavalette, Connie D. Adkins (Lois) of Lavalette, WV, Obie S. Adkins (Jennifer) of Craigsville, WV, Paul David Adkins (Janis) of Ruskin, FL, and Reginald “Mark” Adkins (Patricia) of Chattanooga, TN.
