Sue graduated from Cairo high School in 1964 where she had been an active basketball player for the lady bearcats. She attended Moberly Area Junior College. After college she worked for several area banks in various positions and also worked as a deputy sheriff for the Randolph County Sheriff Department. Sue was a member of the Cairo Baptist Church. She was an active member of the Randolph County Democratic Club, where she LOVED her politics! Bob and Sue were both active members of the Coon Creek Shriners Club, where she continued to be an active member after Bob’s passing, she would never miss a Shriners Parade or a ham and bean dinner.

In lieu of flowers memorials to the Shriners Children’s Hospital would be appreciated.

Services honoring and celebrating Sue’s life were held at the Cater Funeral Home Chapel. Committal prayers and burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery.
