Anna Mae Werner, 96, of Wernersville, died Friday, January 4, 2019, at 9:06 a.m. at the Phoebe Berks Health Care Center.

She was the widow of Earl L. Werner, who passed away January 27, 2008. Born in Lebanon, she was a daughter of the late Robert D. and Mabel E. (Meck) Bean.

She was at nurse at the former Wernersville State Hospital for 27 years retiring in January of 1985.

She was a member of St. John's (Hain's) UCC, Lower Heidelberg Township.

Surviving is a son, Darryl C. Werner, husband of Janice K., of Canton, Ga. Two grandchildren, Craig M. and Heather L.; and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Robert E. Bean, husband of Connie, of Muhlenberg Township; and Gerald H. Bean, widower of Miriam, of Hanover.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Frederick and Roy; and by three sisters: Grace, Dorothy and Marian.

Services will held at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. John's (Hain's) Church Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, January 7, 2019, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
