Jane Rose Baird, 89, of Louisville, KY, passed away on Wednesday, December 5, 2018. She was born on June 6, 1929 in Louisville, KY to Joseph & Adelaide Baird. She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Kendrick Baird Sr.; mother, Adelaide Baird; brothers, Donald Baird and Joseph Kendrick Baird Jr. Jane is survived by her sister, Mary C. Cahill (John); brother, James Richard Baird (Jeannie); and a host of loving nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243), with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. at the funeral home. The family requests that contributions in Jane’s memory be made to Baptist Health Louisville, Palliative Care Unit.
