OAK GROVE, LA - Memorial services for Ivy Ray Robinson, age 79 of Oak Grove, Louisiana, will be held at 2 PM on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 200 East Noble Street in Oak Grove, Louisiana.
Reverend William Moden will officiate.
Interment of the cremains will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove, Louisiana.
A time of visitation will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 from noon until time of service at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove.
He passed away on December 27, 2018 at Christus Shumpert Highland Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana.
Ivy was a well known radio personality in northeast Louisiana, having owned and operated radio stations KWCL AM & FM and KDDI FM in Oak Grove since the late 1950's until now.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ivy Lee Robinson and Josephine Armfield Robinson.
Ivy is survived by his wife of 47 years, Irene Robinson of Oak Grove, Louisiana; daughter, Carla Renee Burnett (Denty) of Monroe, Louisiana; daughter, Lillian Dawn Steen (Tommy) of Brandon, Mississippi; daughter, Rebecca Elaine Beasley (Mark) of Elysian Fields, Texas; daughter, Kelley Kathleen Robinson of Oak Grove; son, Jimmy Turner (Cecelie) of Atoka, Oklahoma; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
