Marion Andrews, 79, long time and well known resident of this community died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Walter Duley in Moulton, Iowa Saturday following an extended illness. Mr. Andrews who followed the farming trade for many years moved to Moulton following the death of his wife and was employed by the Elmer Wood Co. He later retired from that position and for many years has been at the home of his daughter here where he was faithfully cared for. Mr. Andrews was amiable and jovial and his sunny disposition made him countless friends who morn with his family of his passing.

Isaac Marion Andrews, son of Richard D. and Julia Ann Andrews was born in Mark, Davis county, Iowa, April 14, 1867, and passed away at the home of his daughter in Moulton, Saturday September 28, 1946, being at the time of his death 79 years, 5 months and 14 days
old. He grew to manhood at Mark where he was united on marriage to Addie Utt. To this union six children were born, three of who with his wife preceded him in death; two sons, Orris at the age of six months, Lowell age 13 years; and one daughter Beulah Weede, in 1936.He is survived by 3 children, Leon Andrews and Mrs. Walter Duley of Moulton and Sylvia Andrews of Centerville. One sister, Mrs. Jennie Hefner, of Cincinnati, Iowa, one brother Lem of Chicago, Illinois, eight grandchildren and one great grandson besides a host of other relatives and friends are also left to morn his death. He was a kind and loving father and will be missed by all who knew him. Funeral services were held September 30, 1946, at the Eagle Funeral Home in Moulton, Monday afternoon, conducted by Rev. W.F.T. Evans of Centerville. Music was furnished by Mrs. George Carson with Mrs. Holly West at the piano. Pallbearers were Hugh Wood, John Yates, Arthur Wood, Gale Huddleson, Lloyd Southern and Wm. Heintze. Burial was made in Hopkins cemetery near Mark.
