Anna Burro, 81, of Berkeley, died Saturday, March 7, 2009, at Van Dyke Hospice, Toms River. Born in New York City, she lived in Brooklyn before moving to Berkeley 26 years ago.
Predeceased by her husband, Joseph E. Burro, in 2008. Surviving are her three sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph and Mary Jane of Edison, Robert and Kathleen of Bartlesville, Okla., and Daniel and Roseann of Landing; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14 at the Holy Rosary Church, 120 Jerome Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be sent to Boys Town. Arrangements are by DeGraff Cremation Services, Lakehurst.
