Mr. Crain was born May 20, 1879 at Ludlow, son of Joseph and Margaret (Gudgell) Crain. He went to Perry, Ia., when 17 and resided there until 1959, when he came to Chillicothe for a residence.
He is survived by a brother, Albert Crain of Chillicothe; a niece, Mrs. Ruth Nelson of Omaha, Neb.; and three nephews, Earl Crain of Kansas City, Walter Frazier and Charles Crain of Chillicothe.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon from the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home. The Rev. T. A. White will conduct the service. Burial will be in the North Cemetery." The Chillicothe Constitution-Tribune, December 7, 1966
