Aaron (Artie) Horowitz, 92, of Tamarac, FL, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, son of the late Ruben and Minnie (Goodstone) Horowitz, he lived in West Hartford before moving to Florida 20 years ago. Aaron served in the US Navy during WW II and retired from a business career selling women's apparel to retail stores.

He was married to the late Eleanor (Harris) Horowitz. He leaves his current wife Ruth Zand of Tamarac, FL; his daughter Paula Dillon and her husband Joseph of Yarmouthport, MA; his son Robert Horowitz and his wife Jayne Capuciati of Cheshire; grandchildren Michael and David Dillon and Andrew and Christopher Horowitz; and a sister Frances Herbst of MD.

Beside his first wife Eleanor, he was predeceased by a brother Julius.

A graveside service will be held Sunday, December 23, 2018, 11 am at the Farmington Valley Jewish Congregation Memorial Park, 50 Mountain View Avenue, Avon, CT. Donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104. The Carmon Funeral Home & Family Center of Avon is caring for the arrangements.
