Susanna Post was the wife of Abraham Dorland/Durland. She is the 2nd great granddaughter of Abraham DuBois,Sr.--one of the 12 Patentees and founders of the town of New Paltz, NY, and the 2nd great grandaughter of Jan Frederickse Blauw whose sons settled the area of Somerset County, NJ known as "Blawenburg". She was born September 22, 1780 in Harlingen, Somerset Co., NJ and died in New Jersey--town unknown. She is buried in the Hopewell Old School Baptist Meeting House Cemetery, Hopewell, NJ with husband Abraham Dorland/Durland, and their daughter Susan Ann Durland McPherson. Her husband was baptised with the name Abraham Dorland, however the headstone reflects the later spelling that he used "Abram Durland" and their 7 children used the surname spelling "Durland".
