Mrs. Scroggs, wife of Rev. J. A. Scroggs of Ridge avenue, died on Wednesday, July 5, after a protracted illness, of a complication of diseases, aged 56 years. The deceased was a native of Belmont county, Ohio, and leaves several brothers and sisters, two sisters residing in this county. Mrs. Ellen Linn of near Buffalo Village and Mrs. J. B. McConnell of North Strabane. Mrs. Scroggs was highly esteemed by her friends and acquaintances. The funeral services will be held Friday at 4 o'clock, interment in Oak Spring cemetery.
