Bill aka “Billy”, was born to Howard and Bessie Adams in Palmer, Nebraska. He married Celestine “Sally” Vastine in 1937. They had two sons, Gary (JoAnn) Adams of Abilene, TX, Phil (Vicky) Adams of Galesburg, IL, two daughters, Barbara (Dan) Taylor of Bourbonnais, IL and Linda Johnson of Sun City, AZ. He was preceeded in death by his wife in 1980.
Bill was a department store manager nearly his entire career, most notably his 13 years at Stern & Field in Galesburg, IL. Playing golf was far and above his favorite pastime.
