MRS. DAISY McCORMICK
Mrs. Daisy McCormick died Tuesday, July 28, at the home of her parents, Mr. & Mrs. G.D. Truitt, near Elmer, aged 44 years, 10 months and 19 days. Her illness extended back over a period of nine months. For eight weeks she was in a Kansas City hospital. One month ago she was brought here to the home of her parents and all that loved ones could do for her was done. Besides her parents, Mr. & Mrs. G.D. Truitt, she leaves six children to mourn her departure- Mrs. Logan Wilcox of Chicago, Mrs. Ernest Thompson of Miami, Oklahoma, Mrs. Paul Green of Kansas City, George McCormick of Eudora, Kansas, Miss Jennie McCormick and Miss Lucille McCormick of Kansas City. She also leaves two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Edna Branham of Eakly, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Nannie Wilkerson of Eakly, Oklahoma.
The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at the Universalist Church. Burial at the Shirley Cemetery. Mrs. D.C. Reading of Kansas City attended the funeral.
