He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force as a captain in the Strategic Air Command. After his military career, he went to work for the State of Alabama until he retired in 2016. He had a love and passion for music and gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Eunice Alsabrook. He is survived by his sister, two brothers, and extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00 PM at Prattville Memorial Chapel, 841 Fairview Avenue, Prattville, Alabama, with Pastor Lee Walker officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday at Prattville Memorial Chapel from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Prattville Memorial Gardens.
