ALSABROOK, Henry Junior, 81, a resident of Prattville, Alabama died on Monday, December 10, 2012. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial with Reverend Billy Warren officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens with Prattville Memorial directing. Mr. Alsabrook proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for 26 years where he served in the Vietnam and Korean Wars and retired as a Master Sergeant. Following his retirement from the military, he began working as an accountant with the State of Alabama. He later retired as a Senior Accountant. He was preceded in death by his wife, Eunice Virginia Alsabrook; parents, John Henry and Ida Octava Alsabrook. He is survived by one daughter, Helen Virginia (Arthur) Dana; three sons, Tom (Margaret Ann) Alsabrook, Dan Alsabrook, Richard (Cindy) Alsabrook; one brother, Donald (Margaret) Alsabrook; eight grandchildren, Scott Alsabrook, Sara Alsabrook, Christina McKnight, Elizabeth Williams, Joshua Alsabrook, Christopher Dana, Matthew Dana, and Cynthia Dana; three great-grandchildren, Bella Williams, Selah Williams, Ava Jones; and other extended family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers are Scott Alsabrook, Joshua Alsabrook, Matthew Dana, Christopher Dana, Joshua Williams and Jim Reagor. Honorary pallbearers are Horace Powell, Waylon Wilkes, Bob Thornton, David White and Harold Hammonds. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Prattville Memorial from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
