Clarence Wilson Thurman, age 78, passed Tuesday, April 15, 1997 at Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Preceded in death by wife, Charlotte; parents, George and Matilda Thurman; 4 brothers; 3 sisters; and 2 grandsons. Survived by children, Evang. Charlotte Ann Toliver, LeVerne Thurman, Albert (Margaret) Thurman Sr., and Regina (Michael) Smith; sisters, Julia Harris and Millie Freeland; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and many many friends. Special mention to nephews, Herbert Ziglar Sr., and family. Funeral service Friday 8:00 p.m. chapel of DIEHL-WHITTAKER FUNERAL SERVICE, 720 E. Long St. Pastor Lindbergh Perryman officiating.
