Services for Mrs. Fisher Will Be Fri. Afternoon
Mrs. Jeannette Fisher, 84-year-old resident of Rockton, died Tuesday. She was born Nov. 17, 1868, in Durand, the daughter of George S. and Lois M. Partch. Her father was a member of the 12th Illinois cavalry in the Civil War.
She was married to William Fisher on December 6, 1890. He died on December 6, 1929.
Mrs. Fisher was a charter member of the Rockton camp of the Royal Neighbors of America. She was also a member of the Rockton Methodist church.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy of Cleveland, Ohio; a son, Clare of Rockton; three grandchildren, Mrs. Rita Roberts, William Baker and Robert Baker, all of Rockton; two great-grandchildren, Charles and David Petit of Parma, Ohio; three brothers, Orville H. Partch, Chester A. Partch and Walter B. Partch, and one sister, Mrs. Vera Briggs. Pre­ceding her in death were two daugh­ters, Edna and Marjorle, and a grand­daughter, Alma Swatek Petit.
Funeral services will be held at three o'clock Friday afternoon in the Rockton Methodist church, with the Rev. W. R. Corvin officiating. Burial will be In the Rockton cemetery.
