Fred Barraclough, 66, Scranton, died Sunday at a Topeka hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1912 at Scranton nd was a lifelong resident of the Scranton area. He worked for the Morrell Packing Company for several years, then worked for the Forbes Field Supply Depot until it closed. He was then employed by the Scranton school system until retiring two years ago. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member o the Scranton VFW, Post 2709, the mid America Dahilia Society and was an accredited senior judge of the society. Surviors include three brothers, Roy Barraclough, Topeka, Clyde Barraclough, Emporia, and Amos Barraclough, Osage City.
Services were at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crable Funeral Chapel in Osage City. Burial was at Scranton Cemetery, Scranton.
