Mose J. Tipton, age 75, Flag Pond, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 in the Johnson City Medical Center. He was a lifelong resident of Unicoi County and son of the late Bascum and Lela Pierce Tipton.

Mose was a retired Electrician and a member of Sweetwater Church of God.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cloanna Ann Tipton on August 4, 2007; two sisters: Susie Byrd and Billie McCurry.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, one son, Travis Tipton, Flag Pond; four sisters: Peggy Cox (Ralph), Satellite, FL, Elzona Jennings (Bob), Betty Peterson, all of Jonesborough, Ellen McCurry (Plin), Erwin; one granddaughter, Kaley Ann Tipton; two special nieces: Annette Haynie and Melissa Lanclos; several other nieces and nephews also survive.

Memorial service will be held at 3:30 P.M. on Monday, December 17, 2018 in the Robert Ledford Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Craig Shelton will officiate.
