Helen Brewer Scott, 79, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.
She was born in Emporia, Virginia, but has lived in Live Oak, Florida, most of her life. Mrs. Scott was a member of Rocky Sink Baptist Church.
She loved Jesus with her whole heart and praised Him through to her last breath. Mrs. Scott spent her life caring for her family as a homemaker. She made everyone's life better.
Mrs. Helen is survived by her daughter: Sherry (Monty) Savitz, Live Oak, FL; son: William Byron "Buddy" (Kim) Scott, Jr, Lake City, FL; brother: Fred (Fran) Brewer, Littleton, NC; eight grandchildren: Brandy (Mike), Kyle, Blake, Gracyn, Karr, Destiny, Stephanie, Scott; and five great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years: William Byron Scott, Sr; two daughters: Pamela Helen Scott and Sheila Denise Scott; three brothers: Donald Matthew Brewer, James Vernon Brewer, and William Lunsford Brewer.
Services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 1st, 2018, at Rocky Sink Baptist Church in Live Oak, FL, with Rev. Bill Carmichael officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. There will be a visitation held prior to the service at the church starting at 12:00pm.
