TALCOTT — Crystal E. Morgan, 92, died 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 1998, in a Hinton care home following a long illness.

Born March 4, 1906, in Raleigh County, she was the daughter of the late Howard E. and Ida Cadle Parker.

Mrs. Morgan had lived most of her life in Summers County, was a member of the Rollynsburg Baptist Church at Talcott, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of World War I and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kyle E. Morgan; a son, David M Morgan; a granddaughter, Janie Rookstool Thompson; and a stepson, Leo Morgan.

Survivors include a daughter; Martha Rookstool and her husband, Jim, of Talcott; two stepdaughters, Kathleen Pasicki of Easton, Conn., and Norma Artman of Milford, Conn.; two stepsons, Kyle E. Morgan of Ravenswood, and Albert Morgan of Williamsburg, Va.; a sister, Pansy
Drumheller of Fairfield, Calif.; three brothers, Arthur Parker of Hilldale, and Millard and Emil Parker, both of Alderson; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; 11 stepgrandchildren; 19 stepgreat-grandchildren; and 21 stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, Hinton. with Pastors John S. Atkinson and Dana Stalnaker officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Greenbrier Regular Baptist Church Cemetery, Ronceverte.

Friends may call noon until time of the services Saturday at the funeral parlors.

Nephew will serve as pallbearers.

Chrystal E. was married to Kyle Estil Morgan. Kyle was widowed when they met. His first wife was Maud Edeline Honaker. Chrystal totally embraced his family as her own.
