Name and dates are taken from a 1974 transcription of Old Brick Cemetery done by the Daughters of the American Revolution, Camdenton, Missouri chapter.

Said to be the daughter of Charles Harrison Schooler (1807-1865) and Hannah (Page) Schooler 1804-1845.

First married 10 Jul 1860 in Ringgold County, Iowa to William T. Martin. No children. Res. 1860 census in Lotts Creek. Clarissa filed for Civil War widow pension 17 Oct 1863.

Married second to Lunsford L.L. Shockley 13 Oct 1867 in Worth County, Missouri. One son Thomas R. Shockley.

NOTE: Other sources, including her son Thomas' obituary, state she died in Apr 1876.
