Funeral services were held in Salt Lake City Wednesday for Clifford Riter Foster, 72, who died in a Salt Lake hospital January 19.
Mr. Foster, born May 7, 1884 in Salt Lake City, worked at Herlong for a number of years. He had been confined to the VA hospitals in Reno and Salt Lake City for some time. A veteran of World War I, he was an accountant by profession, and was a member of Reno post No. 407, Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Caroline Foster of Reno; a son, Raymond Foster of Reno; a daughter, Mrs. Glen Hopkins of Sacramento; three grandchildren, and a brother, S. Marsena Foster of Salt Lake City.
