Richard P. Bailor, 63, of Elyria, brother of Jame Bailor of Amherst, died Saturday, June 7, 2003 at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria, following a two-month illness.
He was born Dec. 19, 1939, in Ashland, and graduated from Elyria High School.
He was employed by the city of Elyria for 25 years at the central maintenance garage, retiring in February, 2003.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Mary; son, Rick of North Ridgeville; sisters, Lillian Irvan of Elyria and Laura Hodge of Salem, Ohio; and brother, James of Amherst. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Elizabeth Bailor.
Services were held last Wednesday at Dicken Funeral Home, Elyria. Burial was at Brookdale Cemetery, Elyria.
