Kenneth Andrews, age 75, of Cameron formerly of Thrall passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at his home in Cameron.

Funeral services are 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Clint Hodson officiating. Burial in the Marlow Cemetery near Cameron.

Visitation is 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2018 at the funeral home.

Kenneth Andrews was born August 31, 1943 in Tanglewood, Texas to Ernest Edward and Thelma Josephine (Gray) Andrews. He attended school in Sharp, Texas. On March 6, 1964 he and Mary Laverne Halpin were married in Cameron. He lived the past nine years in Cameron and formerly of Thrall.

He was a Rockdale police officer from 1971 to 1972 and worked with the ambulance service. Worked 15 years at Bud Adams Ranch, 21 years with Stiles Farm and 5 years with Milam County Livestock Auction. Kenneth retired in 2009. He was a member of the Lilac Baptist Church. He enjoyed working cattle, fishing and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia Ann Andrews; father, Ernest Edward Andrews; mother, Thelma Josephine Widner; three brothers, Thomas Byrd, Haskle Andrews, James Widner; four sisters, Mary Jo Henson, Martanell Balusek, Mamie White and Bessie Marie Andrews.

Surviving are his wife, Mary Laverne Andrews of Cameron; daughter, Carolyn Davis of Arizona; son, Kenneth Wayne Andrews and wife, Kelly of Midlothian; five brothers, Clifford Andrews and wife, Virginia of Missouri, Johnny Andrews of Cameron, Julius Widner and wife, Sue of Thorndale, J. W. Byrd and wife, Bonnie of Oklahoma, Robert Andrews of Arkansas; two sisters, Annie Lee Treadwell of Dennison, Pamel Zwecker and husband, Jerry of Cypress; five grandchildren, Kristy Haskins and husband, Kenny, Corey Davis, Celeste Davis, Clayton Andrews, Avery Andrews; one great-grandchild, Emmitt Haskins.

Pallbearers are James Jonas, Donnie Tucker, Justin Tucker, Jeremy Vaculin, Paul Miles and Tom Ingalsbe.

Memorials may be made to the American Society.
