Walter Aaron Hadley, son of Henry N. and Hannah E. "Widner" Hadley. He was the 9th of 12 children. He married to Corda Bell Vanatta on Dec. 24, 1930 and they had one son, Billy Richard, who died in infancy. Walter was a happy man, though deaf, worked and loved being with people. He laughed at the simple things in life and could make those around him feel good about life. He passed out business cards from his business as a shoe repair man which stated "I do fine work on your best... on your worst, I do my best" That speaks for the life he lived.
