Antonia Martínez a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico, was called by our Lord on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Antonia graduated from Robertson High School, and went on to by graduating from Luna Vocational Institute with a degree as an Administrative Assistant she was an Office Manager at Las Vegas Housing Authority and also worked as an accountant and bookkeeper at Plaza Drugs.
Antonia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and loved spending time with her partner of 25 years, Richard Palomino.
Antonia was born to her late parents, Manual Alires and Susie Baca Alires on June 13, 1953 in Las Vegas New Mexico.
Antonia was preceded in death by her son, Antonio Martínez, her husband, Ramón S. Martínez, her mother, Susie Baca Alires, father, Manuel Alires, her brother, Martín Baca, sister, Annette Baca and nephew, Christopher Martínez.
Antonia is survived by her fiancé, Richard Palomino of Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter, Susan Martínez Estrada and her husband, Mark Estrada of Albuquerque, New Mexico, daughter, Antoinette Martínez of Santa Fé, New Mexico, grandchildren, Nathan Martínez and his girlfriend, Monqiue Baca, Marquissa Martínez and her boyfriend, Cordal Almánzar, Ramón Martínez, Isaac Martínez , Kevin Martínez and Amiyah Estrada and great-grandson, Adonis Baca Martínez ,her sisters, Theresa Salazar, Maxine Archuleta and her husband, James Archuleta ,Viola Martínez and her fiancé, Alex Dimas, all of Las Vegas, New Mexico, Patsy Lovato of Pecos, New Mexico and Sylvia Martínez of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Antonia had numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends that she loved dearly.
Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant. Interment following at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
