Sarah married William I. Frost, they lived in a one room cabin that William built. There, their 4 children were born. They lived through Indian raids and more. There is a story that George Frost, there youngest son told, that when he and his twin sister Alta were very small about 2 or 3 months old. He said that William, his father told his mother Sarah to put the children out under the sage brush in an Indian raid. Claude had one of the twins and Andrew had the other. This was so the Indians found part of them they would not find all in one place. Adrein, Sarah and William's grandson tells of a time when William and Sarah went to have dinner with a retaliative and the gravy was laced with poison. The lady of the house wanted Sarah out if the way so she could marry William. William tasted the gravy and through it out and chickens died. One day when George and Alta were about 14, the family went visiting, on their way home they saw smoke. It was their home, they lost everything. The neighbors came to help and tried to give William money to rebuild but he told everyone that he had enough money to take care of his family. A new home was built near the spot where the old one was burned. That house remained in the family until 1939, when George the youngest son who took over the farm, sold out. William and Sarah moved from the home stead, to Boise. They lived at 1493 North 10th St., Boise, where William passed away. Later Sarah remarried to Charles Stoops. Their address was 1502 North 20th St., Boise, Idaho.
