Delia was the seventh of fourteen children born to Hugh L. 'Bud' and Amanda Joane (Autry) Been. She married Vernon Mason Helms in 1901 and they had one daughter: Hazel.

Services for Mrs. Alta Adelia Helms, 91, of 532 W. Highland, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at A. L. Moore and Sons, 333 W. Adams. Burial will be in Memory Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Helms, who was born in Greenwood, Ark., died Thursday in her home. She lived in Phoenix 44 years.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank L. Shahan of Phoenix, a sister and brother out of state, three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
