"Death of Thos. Enslow --- On Saturday one of the pioneers of Butte, a man well and worthily known, Thos. Enslow of Wyandotte, breathed his last. He came to this State and to this county in 1849, but we think he returned East again. He however came into Butte at a very early day to make his permanent home and here he resided for more than forty years.
"To him and his wife four children were born, Mrs. Jas. Rutherford and Mrs. Huntington of Wyandotte, and Reuben and Oro Enslow now of Kingman, Arizona. He had long passed the alloted three score of man as he was passed seventy-seven ere death claimed him. His body was buried at Wyandotte on Sunday morning at 11 o'clock and Wm. Dunstone read the funeral service. A large number of friends and relatives followed his remains to their last resting place."
