Lela M. Carr, 89, of Barberton, died July 19. Born in Kentucky, she had lived in the Barberton area most of her life. She was a member of the Cottage Grove Evangelical Congregational Church.
She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Charles B.; daughter, Jean M. Shreiner of Barberton; stepson and daughter-in-law, Bill and Norma Carr of Manchester; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
Calling hours will be TONIGHT, 6 to 9 p.m., at the Schermesser Funeral Home, Suburban South Chapel, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (Rt. 619). Funeral services Saturday, 10:30 a.m. at the Cottage Grove Evangelical Congregational Church, 3133 Cottage Grove Rd., Rev. John C. Ward and Rev. Harry I. Carmichael officiating.
