E. B. 'Gib' Gibson, 78, charmer of the ladies and a friend to all men, passed away on May 13, 2007. After 14 years, 2 months, and 13 days of disability, he finally escaped his broken body and soared away. He leaves behind 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandson, 2 ex-wives, 3 sisters, 2 kitties, and his much loved Sissy Pooh, and countless friends of all ages. He broke the cycle of child abuse and proved it does not have to follow in successive generations. Affectionately known as The Old Goat, he was a remarkable father and never ended a conversation without an 'I love you.' He loved this country and supported our president. Mother's Day was the perfect day to make his journey as he had waited so long to see his 'Sweet Little Mama'. We will miss you and now wait to see you again. Wow, Dad, you made it, you're finally free! Memorials may be made to the D.A.V., 2311 N. Central Ave., OKC OK 73105. Services will be held 2 P.M., Thurs., May 17, 2007 in the Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following in Resthaven Memory Gardens. RESTHAVEN FUNERAL HOME S.W. 104TH AT WALKER 691-1661
