Obituary for Mary Margaret Adams
Mary Adams, 95, of Centerville passed away peacefully with family by her side on Sunday October 14, 2018 at Accura Health Care in Ames.
Mary was born on August 15, 1923 in Cincinnati, Iowa to Steve & Eva (Crnkovich) Raskie. Mary was united in marriage to Albert “Abie” Adams.
Mary was a homemaker, who put her entire family ahead of her throughout her life. She loved her family to the fullest and was a true, one of a kind lady. She enjoyed chasing her grandkids around town. She was very talented with Arts & Crafts, enjoyed cooking for her family and when they were able, her and Abie collected antiques. She was loved by so many and her family is a peace knowing that she has been reunited with her loved ones in Paradise.
Survivors include her son Ronnie Adams, grandchildren: Mary Jo Adams-Delacruz (Ignacio), Wade Adams, great grandchildren: Malachi Valderrabano, Izaiya Valderrabano, Noah Delacruz and Ashton Adams, siblings: Gabe Raskie (Betty), Steve Raskie, Christina Kolniak, Cecilia Budeslich, Patricia Jollay, Helen Hawk and numerous extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert “Abie” Adams, son, Larry Adams, daughter, June Moore, brothers: George, Carl and Mike Raskie, sisters: Eva Rurark and Frances Sniegowski.
Funeral mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at St. Mary’s Church in Centerville. Interment will immediately follow at Oakland Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family and condolences may be shared at www.thomasfh.com or facebook.com/thomasfuneralhome.
