Ernest Aeschbacher is the third son and fourth child of Jacob Aeschbacher and Eliza Gyger. He married Ruby Jane Niederer on November 13, 1922 at Rexburg. They became parents to seven children: Grant, Lyle, Leon, Joyce, Don, Elaine, and Leroy.
Ernest farmed in Archer, Idaho. While his children were still small, Ernest was taken to Salt Lake City where he had a a lung removed because of cancer. In 1953 they moved to a farm in Rigby. They were only there one year when they moved to Idaho Falls. They purchased two apartment houses. Ernest died the next year of an abdominal aneurysm.
