Margaret Lillian Aaron-Wiggins born to the late Saint James Aaron & late Emma Sue McCullough-Aaron, on January 27, 1920, in Lyons, Georgia, passed peacefully from this life on September 30th, 2018.

She was a “Georgia Peach” who caught the eye of Army Airborne Sergeant Thomas W Wiggins in 1949 and they stayed married for 68 years of love and devotion. They came to Ft Bliss in 1957 and although an adopted Texan she still maintained strong relationships with her McCullough, Aaron & Wiggins families.

Margaret had an indelible spirit and charm and known for her perseverance and dedication to work. Some of her best friends came from her work at El Paso Technical High School as Secretary to the Director and as a statistician for the Ft Bliss – White Sands Missile Range Comptroller Review and Analysis Department. When she retired from Civil Service she landed an assignment at Raytheon Service Company as a technical writer and editor for 7 years.

Her accomplishments were outstanding however most co-workers remember her for the delicious rum cakes she baked. She started a cottage rum cake business “Margaritas Kitchen” and shipped them all over the country. Margaret said her happiest days were between 1988-1996 when she was part of the family ballroom dance school, Dance Whirl USA, where the dance floors were made from the recycled wood floors of the old Bowie High School. The slogan was “You walked on these floors to learn, now you can learn on these floors to dance.” “Lillian” and Thomas became accomplished ballroom dancers winning many trophies and recognition in dance competitions from San Antonio, San Diego & Los Angeles. She often commented “I taught my boys how to walk and they taught me how to dance.” For many years she enjoyed a life filled with dancing and travel with her family and many dancing friends. For the last 30 years she enjoyed her husband and Sons in a very happy and unique way.

Services will be held, Tuesday, October 9th, 11:30 AM at San Jose Funeral Home-East. Located at 10950 Pellicano Dr.,
